Leading the Way

Ellie received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Dakota and her Master's degree in Marriage and Counseling from North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls. She is also a Licensed Social Work Associate, Chemical Dependency Counselor Trainee and will be taking the national exam to be a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in South Dakota. 

Before joining the staff at Prairie View Prevention Services (PVPS), she worked as an associate therapist at Stronghold Counseling Services working with individuals, couples, and adolescents and their families at Stronghold Counseling Services and as a Behavioral Health Technician at Avera McKennan Hospital.

This is Ellie's first year at O'Gorman High School as the PVPS Prevention Counselor.  She is at O’Gorman High School on Mondays and Thursdays.  She is also continuing her previous work with individual, family and group therapy components of PVPS.
