Leading the Way

Stacy is looking forward to her second year with Prairie View Prevention Services as the S.A.F.E. counselor with the Canton School District.  The CSD position is unique in that Stacy is able to spend time educating the students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol while also working with the community on prevention strategies and activities.

One of Stacy's goals for the 2007-08 school year is to get more high school students involved in prevention so they can educate their peers on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. 
Stacy graduated from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Before joining PVPS, Stacy worked at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office in Cherokee, Iowa for seven years.
