Prevention, Intervention and Treatment

Prairie View Prevention offers community prevention services as well as addiction counseling services for adolescents.

Prairie View Prevention Services (PVPS) offers the complete range of services for students to fully comply with Alcohol and Drug Citations, shool Activity Violation Policy and Alcohol and Drug Violation Policy.  Services range from initial contact to State accredited individual and group prevention education and early intervention programs. These prevention services are offered at no charge to students in school districts under contract with Prairie View or for a nominal fee for students in other locations.

Other interventions, assesments and outpatient treatment may be responsibility of the adolescent of family.
